Hi everyone!
This is going to be a short post, just warning you. I'm sorry I haven't been blogging very consistently recently, I've just started uni and things are busy - which is becoming too much of a common occurrence. Uni is good so far, some interesting modules (Principles of Neuroscience anyone?) but there's been a fairly major screw up which is a little annoying.
This outfit was taken on Brownsea Island - when I was on holiday with the boyfriend in Swanage, it's this lovely National Trust place near Bournemouth and you have to get a little boat to reach it. I'd been wanting to go for aaagggesss and when we finally went it was so nice! The weather was mainly good and we saw a deer (that I named Jennifer) who just didn't care and there were dragonflies everywhere. Brownsea is known for it's red squirrels, since grey ones haven't been introduced the red squirrels are thriving and we saw one the minute we got off the boat. Then there peacocks and peahens and their babies as well as chickens and ants building hills. It was just so full of nature!
I really wanted to wear my Chinchilla lipstick and at the moment 'cause of my black hair it looks alright. I love that some of the heather was the same pretty lilac colour! It's the little things. As for the hat I love how it adds an edge of grunge to most outfits, especially one like this which has a risk of being a bit too girly (for me). The other day I found out that BFF1 has in fact bought that exact same skirt after seeing me wear it and when we went to London together we ended up both wearing, it was pretty funny.

Anyway, that's it for now. I'll do a longer post at some point. I've got a few things planned (including a DIY or two, yay) so hopefully they'll be going up eventually.

Don't forget I'm currently doing a giveaway on the run-up to my one year blog anniversary where you could win an ASOS voucher, all you have to do is follow Good Morning Angel and leave a comment telling me what you like and what you think could be improved on the blog (enter here).
